The purpose of the visual identity manual is to ensure the harmonised communication of the visual identity of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in both the preparation and discharge period.
The principles that will regulate and facilitate the correct use of design elements in all information or promotion materials (brochures, working documents, business cards, press releases, interactive presentations, posters etc.).
The logo of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is a registered trademark. Its use outside government agencies or formal and informal meetings included on the official schedule of Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is permitted only by agreement of the Unit for Preparing the Presidency, according to the relevant regulations in force.
To ensure the consistency of visual identity and communication, it is very important that the logo be used correctly, in compliance with the rules set forth in this Handbook or, for unforeseen situations, by requesting the agreement of the Unit for Preparing the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
