The main media centre of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is located at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest. It hosts press conferences and provides working facilities for journalists.

The Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will make available 20 media booths in the main conference and media centre in Bucharest. Similar facilities will be installed at the on-site media centers at The National Bank of Romania (Bucharest) – 6, when there are Presidency-related events and Sibiu (for the Summit): 20. The media booths are equipped with universal power outlets (220V), wired and wireless internet access, LAN connection to the internal production network go get acces to media files corespondent to live recordings, and an HD monitor / TV.
The booths are wired to receive live video and audio feeds (floor language and translations) from the meetings covered by the host broadcaster. Media booths have HD SDI signal with embedded audio. Some of the booths are also equipped with ISDN lines. The media booths can be reserved on a first come, first served basis by sending an email to email@example.com, or at the information desk in the press centre. Any additional technical requirements should be notified to the host broadcaster and are subject to a fee.
10 stand up positions for live TV productions and transmissions will be availabe at The Palace of Parliament where most of the high level meetings will take place. Similar facilities will be installed at the temporary media centers at The National Bank of Romania (Bucharest) – 6 and in Sibiu – 10. For reservations, please contact the official host broadcaster.
TVR can provide, upon request and subject to a fee, several fully equipped stand up positions with a camera, microphone and appropriate lighting. For bookings, please contact the official host broadcaster.
The additional services will be charged according to the rate card which will be made available on the official host broadcaster’s website and may be sent by email, upon request. All facilities will be available on a first come first served basis. The permanent media centre opens to media representatives no later than 2 hours before each event open to the media and closes no later than 4 hours after the end of the last press opportunity of the day.
