Vaccination: from public health achievements to challenges and obstacles

Between 9-10 May 2019, the workshop on “Vaccination : from public health achievements to challenges and obstacles” will be organized in Cluj-Napoca.
The meeting will be at the level of experts, coordinators of national vaccination programs and state secretaries from the line ministries of the EU member countries, SEEHN countries, ECDC representatives, WHO-Europe, UNICEF.
The themes to be addressed are:
- Common approach to vaccination health policies in the EU and candidate countries; common obstacles to ensuring optimal vaccination coverage, common vaccine acquisition, the idea of ”core” timing programs and administered antigens (informal discussion).
- Waiting for vaccination in Europe. Danger of reemergence of preventable diseases by vaccination. Generating 5 ideas / solutions to solve the problem.
- Exchange of information on vaccination and the situation of unvaccinated persons. Steps to build a European vaccine registry.
