Minister Delegate for European Affairs George Ciamba meets with Rossen Jeliazkov, minister of transport, information technology and communications of the Republic of Bulgaria

The minister delegate for European affairs, George Ciamba, met on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, with Rossen Jeliazkov, the minister of transport, information technology and communications of the Republic of Bulgaria, on a visit to Bucharest.

During the meeting, the two officials tackled a number of topical issues on the European agenda, in the context of the Romanian Presidency of the European Council of the EU. The interlocutors also tackled aspects bearing on the main active issues on the European agenda, special emphasis being placed on the legislative proposals related to the single market.

The minister delegate for European affairs reassured that as the country holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, Romania would act as an impartial mediator, with a view to advancing the European agenda in a constructive way.
